"Women in Literature"

Geurolution renews activities in physical space. The first month of spring is known as the month of women, therefore, the theme of the current week within the framework of the literary project is "Women in literature".

After the publication of the thematic articles, the week ended with a conference. On March 25, members of Jevrolution visited the school lyceum "Prometheus", where a conference was held on the topic "Faces of women in literature" with the participation of IX and X classes. The event aimed to promote strong female characters and encourage reading among students.

In the first part of the conference, the invited speakers were "Booktokers" beloved by the new generation - Nina Jorjadze and Keto Sikharulidze, who presented the students with selected literature that clearly shows the strong and resilient character of women: Jane Austen's cult work "Pride and Prejudice" and the modern Georgian author, Anna Kordzaia-Samadashvili's book "Who Killed Chaika".

The second part of the conference was devoted to student presentations. Adults talked about outstanding and memorable female characters, both in Georgian and foreign literature. It should be noted that the students were very interested in the mentioned topic and representatives of both sexes were actively involved in the selection and characterization of female characters.

At the end of the conference, the jury identified the 3 best presenters - Mariam Bolashvili, Lizi Esiava, and Nini Kapanadze - who were given the books recommended by the speakers, and each student participating in the conference was given a Geurolution certificate and a special award from the project supporter - Griffin Polyglot Academy vouchers.

On behalf of the organization, we thank the students for their involvement, the school director - Mrs. Natalia Beitrishvili, and the speakers - Keto Sikharulidze and Nina Jorjadze for their cooperation.
